Lisa, It looks great! Anyone suffering from seasonal affective disorder can come hang out in your new dining room and be cheered and by cured by it's sunny, bright happiness. I covet (in a good way) your new tub. Looking forward to seeing more pictures. Mandy
Whoa, a post from the great beyond- thought you forgot about this poor little 'ol blog! Love your colors! Can't wait to see it all finished and I'm sure your ready for it to be done. As for those cats, girl, they WILL be playing 2nd fiddle in due time! :)
Awesome! I am not sure if I am more excited about you getting your house remodeled or your posting a blog entry. Please keep posting! Yeah for your house getting a fresh look! I love the yellow dinning room. But if you are going to entertain you might need more than 2 chairs unless we are going to sit at the coffee table??? heeeeheee!
Lisa, what a pleasant surprise to get your sweet comment on my blog. By the way, your home improvements look GREAT! I think it's great that you are working in the Music Studio. I'm sure you are doing a wonderful job! I surely enjoyed my year/years working there!
Well, here is my response regarding what you asked me about being a GBS Music Alumni. (Feel free to edit it how you need to). First off let me say that I would not TRADE one minute of the time I spent at God's Bible School! I will always be grateful that God led me there! (Not to mention the wonderful husband I met and married in the chapel there! Smile!) My education, the Spiritually refreshing chapel services, singing in the choir and watching my teachers' walk with God are lessons that were invaluable! People like Bro. and Sis. Garen Wolf, Robyn Clemons, and Martha Miller are still my heros today! I felt that God wanted me to study church music at GBS for I knew that I was dating and planning on marrying a preacher. (Which I did, Phillip Dickinson BA 1996.) I played the piano for our church in Phoenix, AZ for 4 years. Then God called us to be missionaries and pioneer a work in Colombia, South America. After being here only 2 weeks, we bought a small keyboard and some Spanish hymnals and I began playing the Spanish flavored hymns for our churches. Now donors have purchased a nice piano and I play for all the serivces (when I'm not on bed rest. =) I use my education to help my daughters practice their piano and violin as well. I keep busy being a missionary's wife, homeschooling Mommy of 3, with a toddler and a baby on the way. I don't have extra time, so we are paying for 3 Colombian girls from our church to take piano lessons from another teacher, so one day they will take my place as pianist of our church here! My goal in life is to inspire others to play sacred music and to lay all the talents I have at my Saviour's feet. ~Heather Bryan Dickinson BA 1997~
I am happily married to a Cincinnati cop! My time is spent babysitting three adorable kids. In August, I'll begin my new job as office manager of the Music Division at GBS. I enjoy getting together with my family (that includes my in-laws) and friends! God has blessed me with a wonderful life.

Cool! My kitchen is the color of your dining room and my attached dining room the color of your kitchen.
Enjoyed the update!
It was good talking to you for about 10 seconds at the recital.
