3. I officially began my new job as Music Division Office Manager at GBS! After two weeks of training (which was so invaluable, I can't imagine what this past week would have been like without it) and a week on my own under my belt, I now look New Student Orientation week and registration in the face and say, "Let me at 'em!" Well, ok, not exactly... It's more like I'm getting ready to suck in my breath and take the plunge.
Adriona makes sure her first bite is going to be worth all the effort!

We had a water balloon toss for the kids, a cornhole tournament (Jeremy and I didn't do so well this year in spite of all our concentration and crazy body contortions) and a game of softball that will make me unable to get out of bed in the morning. I might as well set a bottle of Advil and a glass of water by my bed right now..... All in all it was a very pleasant day that I think everyone enjoyed!!

Donald and Susan (kidless for the day and enjoying it!)
My mom trying her hand at cornhole
Had a couple of wet casualties... When you're 3 years old, sometimes it's hard to get over the fact that a balloon has been so mean as to break on you!
Jeremy and I played Roy and Helen, who I was told practiced last night just for today's tournament! It paid off - they creamed us!
Don't ask... I had no idea I looked so ridiculous following a toss! If we'd won, I'd have said it was all in the kicked backed leg. Really, I'm trying to be a flamingo.
The object of the game, or so it would seem
Check out the focus and concentration! Too bad it's not like that when I'm trying to tell him something!

Lisa,
It's good to see all is well! It has been a very long time. I've been trying to make contact with old friends, so it was great when I found you on here.

Hey, good pics! I didn't have a chance to take too many. I love the pic of Joel by the cornhole. Maybe you can email it to me! You guys tried hard- the body contortions do help!!
Great Picnic. I am still feeling the pain! I thought I was going to cry when Isabelle was squirming on me earlier. This older body just is not working with my young at heart attitude!
I had such fun seeing the snapshots! Makes me a bit nostalgic to get glimpses of your Mom and Debbie. :-)
